Wind Generator

A kit demonstrating how rotational energy can be converted into electrical energy. The moving magnets induce a current in the coil which makes the LED glow.

Plastic propeller not included.

Note that this kit contains Neodymium magnets which should be kept away from small children as they can be a hazard if swallowed. See these Health and Safety warnings.

A selection of turbine templates for exploring the relationship between efficiency and number of blades: 3 blade, 4 blade, 5 blade. (Cut around the outline down to the innner circle then fold the points in and secure with glue or a paper fastener.)
